Christmas night in the north of China

Christmas night, 2009. I´m visiting Suiling, Yolanda´s hometown. Christmas is a bit of a non-event in China and today was the first day of classes in our new kids school Around The World English.

A white Christmas is also something of a novelty for a Queenslander and outside the snow was gently falling, as it had been all day.

I grabbed my camera and went for a walk around the streets of this small Chinese country town and captured a few images that appealed to me.
